Ridvan Yilmaz is reported to be setting up Ryan Kent’s Ibrox exit with a move to Fenerbahce.

The ‘former Liverpool starlet’ has had another underwhelming season at Ibrox but has made a big impact on his new team-mate who joined from Besiktas in a £5m move in July.

Leeds United have been linked with a swoop for Kent at every transfer window but despite his contract running out in a couple of weeks there is no sign of genuine interest from the Yorkshire club.

The Turkish media is notoriously speculative, Galatasaray are constantly linked with Alfredo Morelos and Ianis Hagi, with Football Scotland picking up on interest in Kent:

Fenerbahce are lining up a move for Rangers star Ryan Kent, according to reports in Turkey.

And the Ibrox winger has already received ‘positive’ references from Rangers team-mate Ridvan Yilmaz as well as Kenny Miller. Turkish outlet Sports Digitale report.

Fenerbahce are interested in bringing him in with Kent out of contract at the end of the season.

The former Liverpool youngster has had a poor season with the Ibrox side but Michael Beale remains a big fan of him.

It’s believed he will move on at the end of the campaign after five years in Glasgow, including an initial loan spell that was turned permanent for a fee of £7million.

Kent was a key part in Rangers reaching the Europa League Final last season but was unable to make the same impact this season and many Ibrox fans and pundits are willing to see him leave, although they are frustrated that he will leave for free.

Morelos, Ryan Jack, Scot Arfield, Steve Davis, Filip Helander and Allan McGregor are also out of contract in June.
