During the first half of Saturday’s Derby match Ally McCoist and Andy Walker were competing with each other over who was most outraged at a ‘goal’ being disallowed for fouling.
In their playing days both pundits were never slow to hit the deck, apparently it is the done thing and expected in a professional environment where you are playing for bonus money.
Kevin Clancy’s decision almost had McCoist calling for the game to be abandoned, his English admirers would barely have recognised the chirpy chappy who brings joy and happiness to the commentary box wherever he goes/is paid.
Some laugh isn’t it?
Walker and McCoist seeing the funny side of this offside call against Kyogo and the Jack header. https://t.co/guAW7AXOvP pic.twitter.com/lP5fkvPhXv

Fortunately the Sky Sports duo were back on form midway through the second half when Kyogo Furuhashi was wrongly called for offside.
‘Half a yard offside,’ McCoist called it, as the incident was replayed his buddy Walker corrected him with both pundits seeing the funny side- unlike their reaction to a bout of wrestling from Alfredo Morelos in the first half.
” like me ally like me” pathetic also from mr ” if you feel contact in the box go down” walker!! Its a foul on jonson in every league in the world the defender get the call!! Whats so par for the coarse is the ” no gap” ha ha Aye ok 12 points!! That do me! And ex Celtic players feeling the need in the media to go along with the no foul brigade from the msm which is 90 percent ebt huns!! I thought the days of uncle tims were over!! Huns dont give an inch!! And expect decisions we need to hammer them at hampden as the ref will feel he has to sucumb sadly just like some our ex players its pathetic!
He loves a wee bowl of soup does Andy.
You expect this shite from an ex-Hun laughing stock like McCoist, whose woeful knowledge of the game was exposed the minute he stepped into Walter’s waistcoat after he realised that Rangers had died and wisely did walking away. Walker is just the Uncle Tom (or should that be Uncle Tim?) ex-Celtic player they get on to give an air of impartiality but who, like Charlie Nicholas these days, seems to have some weird chip on his shoulder about his former club.
I have a theory that any ex Celtic player who takes up a commentary position in the meeja and doesn’t hold legendary status by Celtic Supporters inevitably has a chip on their shoulders.
Good players aye legends naw.
Changes nothing.
3-2 12 points clear and the rebel treble is on.
