David Dickinson will referee Sunday’s match between Kilmarnock and Celtic, the second time that he has been given this fixture this season.
Back in August Ange Postecoglou’s side won 5-0 at Rugby Park. Dickinson has had four more Celtic matches this season with two of them involving high profile VAR incidents.
Back in November he awarded Dundee United a penalty when Alexandro Bernabei was judged to have deliberately used his arm to block a header inside the penalty box.
After a relatively trouble free 4-1 win away to St Johnstone in February Dickinson was in charge of the 5-1 win away to St Mirren in February.
The home side took the lead from a Mark O’Hara penalty with Dickinson reversing his decision to award Celtic a penalty when Charles Dunne fouled Kyogo Furuhashi resulting in a red card.
Should non-Scottish referees be appointed for future Glasgow Derbies?
Yes- the only possible answer
No, best to stick with our local refs
Alan Muir will be on VAR duty on Sunday, St Mirren visit Ibrox on Saturday where Steven McLean will be the referee with Andrew Dallas on VAR.

i would like to see the var shown live on the big screen so as the fans can see what the ref is looking at the same time as the ref
Also with commentary to referee as to how they reach the decisions
Exactly the same as Rugby
No brainer or do they have something to hide?
