Juan Alegri has quit Ibrox, rejoining FC Honka two years into his three year contract.
The Colombian shared the same agent and appetite as Alfredo Morelos but failed to make any impact during loan spells at Partick Thistle and Falkirk.
Alegri arrived at Ibrox in January 2021 with high hopes that he could be developed and sold on as part of the club’s Player Trading model.
Going out on loan to Partick Thistle in the Championship then dropping a league to play for Falkirk suggested that things weren’t going to plan.
It wouldn’t be the biggest surprise of the summer if his mate Morelos joins him with a return to Colombia once his Ibrox deal expires.

Rangers are in talks with FC Honka to sign Colombian striker Juan Alegria.
The 18-year-old has been tracked by the Scottish Premiership leaders for some time.
Alegria shares the same agent as fellow countryman and Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos.
