Every transfer window the Daily Record dusts down their favoured Leeds United keeping tabs/preparing a bid/ poised to make an offer but strangely nothing has ever materialised for Ryan Kent. Much like yesterday’s performance against Celtic.
Under Steven Gerrard, Giovanni van Bronckhorst and now Micky Beale the former Liverpool starlet seems undroppable but there is only so long that you can live off a few step-overs against Borussia Dortmund.
Averaging four or five goals a season is bad enough but when Celtic have three wingers hitting double figures every season the contrast is too big to ignore.
As Connor Goldson discovered last summer there isn’t much interest in serial losers from Ibrox, it wouldn’t be a complete surprise to see Kent’s greetin face around again next season.

I’m sure Beale will have his own plans and can’t see Kent part of that.
I’m disappointed with the result but take a good few positives.
