Michael Beale has claimed that Celtic’s second goal in the Glasgow Derby should have been disallowed.
Rather than focus on horrendous defending from Ben Davies the Ibrox boss went off on a tangent claiming that Jota had used his hand to provide Kyogo Furuhashi with his second goal of the match.
Davies managed to block a cross from the Celtic right but as the ball spun high into the air he decided to keep the ball in play rather than concede a corner.
The former Liverpool defender only succeeded in hitting the ball off Jota’s stomach, when the ball broke Kyogo buried his half chance through the legs of Allan McGregor to put Celtic 2-1 up.

When Ben Davies heads the ball off Jota it hits his arm. It’s not outside his body but it does hit his arm. If we’re so picky on one moment I think we need to be as picky as the other one.
That goal was Kyogo’s fifth against Beale’s side this season but it seems that the Ibrox defenders are no wiser in how to deal with the Celtic striker.
While he engineered the opening goal with movement it was sheer instinct that latched onto the loose ball to steer his shot into the net.

Any excuse at all. Mr Beale its like this. Celtic were poor today by the standards of this season and still defeated Rangers. Gid help yous if they hit top form in the semi final. Be afraid Mr Beale. Very afraid.
A lot of half-time on the BBC Sportsound was used to discuss one incident, the Moreloss disallowed goal. It seemed to stick in their throat a little bit!
