It was an afternoon to forget for Allan McGregor in what was probably his last ever match at Celtic Park.

The veteran keeper looked every day of his 41 plus years as he realised that John Souttar was miles short with a back pass in the 73rd minute.

Jota’s fresh young legs were one step ahead of the keeper who couldn’t even get close enough to foul the Superstar from Portugal. Taking one touch to take the ball beyond the keeper Jota then squeezed his shot into the open goal from a tight angle.

Souttar was starting his first match since July, stepping in for Connor Goldson who apparently has developed a hip injury.

McGregor was on the bench when Celtic won 4-0 in September with Jon McLaughlin presenting the fourth goal to David Turnbull.

Playing against Celtic for the third time this year Greegsy has lost seven goals to Celtic with a Scottish Cup semi-final against the hoops just three weeks away.
