Celtic TV opted to take a position in line with the six yard line for yesterday’s match away to Ross County.
With the close proximity to the pitch at the ‘Tony Ralston End’ there isn’t much room for a camera with the repositioning paying dividends in extra time.
Holding back as Celtic attacked down the right, when the ball was switched he took the chance to advance before sending a brilliant 25 yard shot past Ross Laidlaw into the net.
When the Fourth Official held up his board with the figure 8 on it there was a sense of dread for some Celtic fans but Bernabei’s goal killed the match stone dead and set the tone for Saturday’s Glasgow derby.

As ever there was a mix of delight and relief as the ball hit the net, an away match after the international break is rarely a formality with Ross County fighting for Premiership survival.
