After less than 20 minutes Sky Sports have deleted a tweet including an interview with Nico Raskin.
The interview lasted 3 minutes and 25 seconds with one passage quickly picked up by the Daily Record and Glasgow Times.
It’s very important for two reasons. Rangers we need to win something for the season and it is our last chance, we also want to win against them. The last game we lost but we have another feeling, we are not that far from them.
We had some chances, okay, they won, so now we focus even more on ourselves, and we go with a strong team and mentality, and go for it.
It seems that someone at Sky or Ibrox decided that it wasn’t the right message to be sending out with the tweet deleted and interview edited down. A bland interview discussing the joys of life in Scotland and going for coffee with Alex Lowry is on the main Sky Sports website.
Sunday’s match will be shown by Viaplay Sport, there is no obligation to speak to Sky Sports but someone in the Ibrox media team must have thought that some comments from Raskin would be well received by Ibrox fans.
There is now no mention of ‘not that far from them’ or the Scottish Cup on the interview being broadcast.

Sure , they’ve closed the gap to only Continental wide !
Dougal these cows are small but the ones outside are far away.
It was pointed out to me that commentators refer to Raskin as Raskin (Scottish pronunciation as spelled) when he’s his usual self but when he occasionally makes a decent contribution he suddenly becomes Raskin (French pronuciation: ‘Raskah’).
Chubby cheeks, a button nose, like a wee teddy bear, a beard to disguise his lack of maturity.
Little boys should be in their beds by eight o’clock, not making drivel comments to earn themselves extra chocolate money!
