Tomoki Iwata makes his first start for Celtic today away to Ross County following seven appearances off the bench.
The former Yokohama F Marinos midfielder moved to Celtic in January and replaces Reo Hatate as the only change from the Celtic side that defeated Hibs 3-1 a fortnight ago.
Iwata has played in a mainly defensive/holding midfield role which gives Ange Postecoglou the opportunity to push Callum McGregor into a more advanced role.
With Liel Abada and James Forrest injured Sead Haksananovic is the only first team winger on the bench but Rocco Vata and Ben Summers are included among the subs.
Reo Hatate and Aaron Mooy are both missing from the squad but appear to be in contention for Saturday’s Glasgow derby, Willie Collum referees today’s match.
CELTIC: Hart; Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor; McGregor, O’Riley, Iwata; Jota, Kyogo, Maeda
SUBS: Bain, Haksabanovic, Turnbull, Kobayashi, Oh, Bernabei, Summers, Welsh, Vata
Ralston never got the call for a Scotland cap, Clarke making do with Hickey and Patterson. But once training’s started he gets the call and then gets injured at training, so he’s sent back to Celtic
