Craig Moore believes that five more Ibrox stars could be on their way out the door to join the Feeble Five announced today by Micky Beale.

Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Filip Helander, Scott Arfield and Allan McGregor refused to agree new deals and will make an emotional farewell to Ibrox after Wednesday’s match against Hearts.

Ryan Jack was the only player to agree terms on a new deal with a busy summer expected at Ibrox as free agents move in from the English Championship.

Kieran Dowell and Dujan Sterling are expected to lead the Revolution with Craig Moore expecting almost a team full of players to move on.

The former Australian internationalist was a guest on Go Radio tonight with the Daily Record picking up on his comments:

Former Rangers defender Craig Moore can envisage more senior figures like John Lundstram and Fashion Sakala exiting Glasgow, while up to 12 new faces may be needed. When asked on Go Radio who he thought was going to go from the squad, and with John Lundstram and Glen Kamara tipped as candidates for the departure lounge, Moore responded: “Neither would surprise me.

Antonio Colak, if money came in for Fashion Sakala. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a Borna Barisic move on if the opportunity came along.

“There are five players we know about that Rangers have come out and announced. You are going to see 10-12 players come through the door for the start of next season.

“The most important thing for Rangers in regards to the recruitment side of things, talent we know, there needs to be that desire, something to prove. That is important and you need to have the right players with the right mentality to come and try and close the gap on Celtic.”

Moore seems to be missing one key element of transfer activity and that is finding a club willing to pay a transfer fee and offer an improvement on current wages. If he needs any insight into what is involved a quick word with Connor Goldson should put him right.

Anyone interested in Kemar Roofe, Jon McLaughlin or Scott Wright will find the Ibrox club very willing to talk terms.

Fortunately for Beale he has Rabbi Matondo, Ben Davies and Ridvan Yilmaz tied onto long term contracts to join January signings Todd Cantwell and Nicky Raskin.
