Hibs fans stood up to be counted today against the obscene expenditure on display in London.

With most media outlets blindly drooling over a man in his seventies getting a new ceremonial role there are more important matters for the people of Leith and Edinburgh.

Before and during the match there were chants against the monarchy with banners also unfurled.

Hibs raced into a two goal lead before half time and hung on for full points to move a point behind Hearts in fifth place in the Premiership.

With the season ending with a trip to Tynecastle Hibs have plenty to play for with significant prize money and an advanced UEFA place for the side finishing in fourth position.
