The Ibrox Twitter account was busy last night as they rattled out news of the awards at last night’s Player of the Year celebrations.
James Tavernier was the main prize guy scooping up the three top awards but it seemed that almost everyone was getting a trophy to take home.
Bayern Munich starlet Malik Tillman picked up the Young Player of the Year with Antonio Colak winning the Goal of the Season gong.
The B team and Women’s team were also honoured on the night but it seems like the club wanted to keep quiet on one special award.
Say what you want about @morelos2106 but @RangersFC not acknowledging this on any socials is pish considering what he has given us over the years! pic.twitter.com/G7xkHwdtlF

With 29 European goals over five campaigns Alfredo Morelos has made a massive contribution to the club, setting a benchmark that it is hard to see anyone going past.
Despite the regular outbreaks of Transfer Bingo Morelos has remained at Ibrox, selected and praised by a succession of managers.
For reasons known only to themselves the Ibrox Media Team decided not to tweet the award given to Morelos who appears to have pulled on the cherished blue jersey for the last time.
Oh how he’ll miss the marble staircase and the iconic trophy room full of useless ceramics and bikes……
HH
Last night’s event was sponsored by ‘ Buff’s buffet bar !’ All you can eat for £9. 99 . Plate lickin’ succulence ….Y’all come back now !
Did Beale win the Ibrox manager of the year award…? 🙂
As for Morelos: joking aside, his talent has been wasted – and under-developed – at Ibrox.
With a stronger manager, would he be a better / wanted player today?
Separately, with his questionable judgement and attitude,
Morelos might just bring out a “warts and all” footy autobiography worth reading?!
If that is a picture of Alfie and the wife, then where are the kids?
Or has he not got round to that yet.
I must say, I will miss him blessing himself at Ipox. Just won’t be the same without him!
