There was no let up in the diet of despair for Ibrox fans last night as they tuned in to the SFA Youth Cup Final last night.

The u-18s can be added to the first team, B team and Ladies team as being second best to Celtic as an 11 goal thriller was completed by another trophy heading to Celtic Park as Stuart McLaren’s side came out on top.

On the touchline only the dubious hairline of Cameron Campbell provided some light relief as the Ibrox kids conceded one goal more with star striker Zak Lovelace sent off for two dives in the penalty box.

Earlier in the match the former Millwall striker had got away with one with a penalty putting his side 4-3 in front but an own goal sent the match into extra time where Celtic scored twice before a stoppage time consolation.

There is still a SWPL match and Womens Scottish Cup Final to be played, a Glasgow Cup Final plus Celtic’s visit to Ibrox on May 13 for the suffering bears to cope with.

CELTIC: Meikle (Gill 46), Dede (Luyeye 78, Mackenzie, Agbaire, Robertson, Ure, Hatton (Dobbie 70), Kelly, Cummings (Turley 108), Thomson (Haddow 86), Frame (Bonnar 86).

Great performance and result from the young boys.
Sad to read so many horrible comments coming from media posts about the Rangers youngsters, all by their own fans, none who were even at the game, bitterness towards the youngsters is not required.
Both sets of youngsters should be complimented for the skill and effort shown.

Just surprised there was no head butting….then again with that haircut there’s no surprise
