Chris Sutton was swotting them aside with style last night on BBC Five Live!

With Robbie Savage in full gloating mode over a dead rubber victory for a club that snubbed him in 2012 to sign Ian Black and Kevin Kyle the former Celtic striker was in his element.

When Ibrox fan Paul got through to celebrate winning a nothing match Sutton didn’t hold back as he presented some uncomfortable FACTS! To Paul and the listening audience.

Tuning in last night, The Sun reports:

One Rangers fan called into BBC Radio 5 Live to revel in the result, with Celtic favourite Sutton manning the phone-in alongside punditry pal Robbie Savage.

The supporter, named Paul, was full of praise for the Light Blues’ first goalscorer on the day Todd Cantwell, highlighting his “nutmeg” on Joe Hart to put his team in front.

Sutton was quick to interrupt as he attempted to wind-up the Gers fan, as he slated the Light Blues for their lack of success this season overall as their city rivals close in on another treble.

He replied: “You’ve won the ‘Nutmeg Cup’, you’ve won the ‘Doesn’t Matter Cup’, you’ve won the ‘Close The Gap Cup,’ but what about the league?

What’s happened in the League Cup where it matters? What happened in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup when it mattered? You didn’t turn up, Paul.”

A win against Inverness Caley Thistle on June 3 will give Celtic a world record eighth treble- one more than the Rangers club that went into liquidation in 2012.

When the trophies and medals are handed out on the 27th against Aberdeen and hopefully on the 3rd of July.
The rangers will be handing out pamphlets saying SOS.

Yep. Was talking to a celebrating hun and asked him what trophy they won on Sat.

Err none. Then asked him what trophies they’ve won this season.

Err none. Then asked him what trophies they could win this season.

    Guess the answer.

Beale could yet still win the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award for running the best chippy in Walford 10 years running?

While Celtic players are receiving their medals in the coming weeks, the only thing any of their players will be getting is their P45.
