One week on from winning the Glasgow Cup Dylan Corr has signed for Raith Rovers.

This time of year some big decisions are taken with the 18-year-old not being offered another contract after starting out with the Celtic u-7 squad.

At Raith Rovers he will find the path to first team football far less cluttered with the realistic goal of seeing Championship action early next season after a solid grounding at Celtic.

Corr was a half-time substitute at Ibrox last week and was blameless as two sloppy goals were given away to take the match into a penalty shoot-out.

Josh Clarke in goals excelled himself with four saves from seven penalties to spark wild celebrations for the visitors.

It was Corr’s last appearance in the hoops, going out with a winners medal is about as good as it gets for a farewell match.

Back in 1999 his dad, Barry John made one first team substitute appearance for the Celtic first team, replacing Jonathon Gould in a win away to Hearts at Tynecastle.
