Micky Beale has hit out at Todd Cantwell’s critics with the Daily Record helpfully putting their own columnist Chris Sutton up as the source of Beale’s anger.

The former Norwich starlet likes to go down too easily as Hibs boss Lee Johnson highlighted following Sunday’s match at Easter Road.

When the going got tough Cantwell disappeared as Celtic ended his side’s interest in the SPFL, Scottish Cup and the League Cup.

With nothing to play for the Poundland Jack Grealish as been full of tricks and treats, playing with a ribbon in his hair, falling over at any contact and kissing the badge to the delight of the Gullible & Deluded.

Beale finks that he is a clever geezer playing the media, after drawing with Hearts he discussed Cantwell with the Daily Record reporting:

We all know where it’s coming from. That was a blatant foul at the weekend, two hands in the chest. Anywhere else on the pitch it’s a foul. What’s Todd going to fall over there for? It becomes a narrative around it.

He’s doing really well. I think people should just enjoy him while he’s in our league. He’s been in our league a few months and shown lots of bright things. Again tonight a fantastic goal.

He’s feisty, he wants to play the game with passion. He’s everything fans want. We’ve just got to be careful. We’ve been down that road before with Alfredo, haven’t we?

For the best part of six years Morelos seemed immune from punishment by Scottish referees as he kicked out at opponents, barged and elbowed his way through games.

Perhaps Beale should avoid BT Sport and concentrate on the output from BBC Sportsound and Sportscene for fawning coverage from Neil McCann, Kenny Miller, Richard Foster, or stop listening to his Ibrox media monitors.

On a Saturday morning Sutton provides the only readable content in the Record, eager to bring their own man into the story the Record opted to put 2 and 2 together with:

Record Sport columnist and former Celtic striker Chris Sutton called out the former Norwich City midfielder for “going down too easy” during matches, insisting that referees will soon “cotton on” following the weekend win over Hibs, during which he won a free kick converted by James Tavernier.

Despite his stunning Ibrox form Gareth Southgate left Cantwell out of his squad for the June internationals.

Keep throwing the baited hook because Beale always takes the bait.He is like an alligator who takes the chicken all the time.

Just keep getting into his thoughts it is hilarious how he continually shows his lack of class.
