Adam Kennedy was a very angry Jambo last night.
With his club in freefall and heading for a fifth place finish in the SPFL he really should have more to worry about than Jota picking up a Goal of the Season Award.
Kennedy knows loads about football because he does some media work for Lowland League outfit East Kilbride.
Like many in Scottish football the sight of Celtic winning at anything causes an irrational degree of alarm and pain.
Jota’s goal in the September Glasgow derby was a thing of beauty but maybe too smart for a Jambo more impressed by a blooter from the halfway line.
Josip Juranovic took a quick free kick that caught three opponents sleeping. Matt O’Riley and Jota quickly realised that there was an opening, the midfielder’s pass was picked up by his team-mate who raced away from the defenders then slowed up enough to produce a brilliant dink over the goalkeeper, across goal and into the net.

Aye, one of Shanklands 37 penalties should’ve win the award. Imagine being third with a double digit points lead and then struggling not to end up in 5th place. Pathetic.

Do you know anything about football?? Quick thinking from the free kick, the pass was sublime, the run from Jota, the vision from ORiley to pick him out, the first touch and the finish from Jota. It was pure football. Maybe a lucky strike that could have went anywhere was better

The hertz player walloped the ball in a speculative big hoof up the park and it went over the goalie’s head into the net.
This qualifies as “fitbaw” in Embra.

Hard to believe but even some Huns can (very) occasionally be circumspect and display a little wider knowledge of football. If you really want to see and hear what unfettered, deranged and unhinged bitterness and hatred sounds like, I would always recommend you seek out a follower of the Tynecastle ‘outfit’: the proportion among their fanbase is even higher.
