Ryan Kent appears to be closing in on an Ibrox escape deal- avoiding the embarrassment that Connor Goldson suffered last summer.

The former Liverpool starlet is out of contract at the end of this month and has shown no interest in signing a new contract.

In September 2019 it was reported that a fee of £7m was involved in his move from Ibrox, as a free agent his next move will see the Ibrox club pick up nothing, not even the add-ons that they negotiated in Joe Aribo’s move to Southampton last summer.

The Sun reports:

RYAN KENT has been offered a multi-year deal by Turkish giants Fenerbahce, according to a report.

The Rangers winger looks set to leave Ibrox at the end of the season with his current deal expiring in the summer.

Several reports have linked Fenerbahce with the out-of-contract star in recent weeks and it’s claimed they have now made their move to land the 26-year-old.

Kent is free to talk to other clubs as he enters the tale-end of his four-year contract, which he agreed when he joined from Liverpool in 2019.

Michael Beale has hinted that the winger will leave Glasgow at the end of the current campaign after Rangers failed to agree an extension for the £6.5million man.

Kent has been linked with phantom moves to Leeds United at every transfer window but it seems that there is no interest in a 3-goals-a-season winger from English clubs despite his home-trained status for UEFA purposes.

Will Micky Beale survive to Christmas at Ibrox?

Yeah, I fink so
