Andrew Dickson is the latest executive to quit Ibrox.

The 56-year-old served as a director of both Ibrox clubs, under Dave Murray his roles within the SFA, alongside Campbell Ogilvie, allowed the old club to cheat every club and supporter in the country out of honours for more than a decade.

Charles Green ensured that there was a blazer and set of brogues for Dickson when he set up the new club in 2012 with Stewart Regan, Rod Petrie and Peter Lawwell ensuring a warm welcome inside the SFA.

Over the last month Douglas Park, Ross Wilson, Stewart Robertson and Craig Mulholland have bailed out with Dixon next in line to flee the sinking ship.

Stephen McGowan of the Daily Mail reports:

RANGERS director Andrew Dickson has become the latest senior figure to leave Ibrox.

Chairman Douglas Park, sporting director Ross Wilson, managing director Stewart Robertson and academy director Craig Mulholland have all confirmed their departures in recent weeks.

And Sportsmail understands long-serving director of finance and football administration Dickson has become the latest casualty of a boardroom clear-out, bringing an association spanning four decades to an end.

Joining the club in 1991, Dickson became financial controller in 2001. Two years later he took up the role of head of football administration.

The 56-year-old served on a number of SFA and SPFL committees and working groups after his appointment to the football club board in 2015.

While the club has been awarded a Platinum licence by the SFA it will be upto UEFA to decide whether or not the Ibrox Tribute Act are allowed to play in next season’s qualifiers.

Later today the Daily Record are expected to report this resignation as another boost for Micky Beale’s transfer warchest which is expected to include more than Kieran Dowell.

Will Micky Beale survive to Christmas at Ibrox?

Yeah, I fink so

Yeah, I fink so

Naw, I don't fink so

WTF is going on over there,I reckon Beale will be gone before the season is out.
There is some SERIOUS shite going on over there, can you imagine if this was people connected to Celtic all heading out the door one after another.
The word CRISIS would be getting SPLASHED around front and back pages with the CREST or Badge split.

Was looking on the blog from the PONCE across the water today what a horrible individual he is.
One guy commented on a sevco matter nothing bad or derogatory in the post and the PONCE tried to put the guy down,he needs to a grip.

Souness is on his way with King.

Dickson will get a job at the SFA.

Director of Finance at that shambles? Wonder what the core skills for that role are. Must know the funny handshake. Must have own apron. Must be good at stuffing envelopes with cash. Must be in possession of a blind eye. Must be incapable of asking questions. No doubt a job at the SFA beckons with that skill set.

Massive change coming at The Rangers.
They have been told that Gibson [the billionaire] is coming to save them.
Seems like I have heard this story on 2 previous occasions.
So the 1p shares selling at [grossly overpriced] 20p to club 1872 will soon be worth Morelos type money.
So once again a feel good story is sent out to sell season tickets.
Maybe Gibson will take control, aye so he will say the remaining directors, its our club and he can gift us as much as he likes but has no say in how it’s run, that’s how they operate at ibrox.
Time will tell, but watch out for something completely different.
