Ange Postecoglou had mixed news on the injury front as Celtic prepare for the final eight days of the season.
After missing four matches Alistair Johnston is back in contention for tomorrow’s match against Aberdeen, if he avoids a set-back he will be a starter for the Scottish Cup Final against Inverness Caley Thistle.
Time looks like it is drifting away from Aaron Mooy but despite being substituted after 22 minutes in midweek against Hibs Sead Haksabanovic appears to be in with a realistic chance of being involved at Hampden.

QUESTION: Is there an update on Alistair Johnston, is he able to play at the weekend and for the Cup Final
AP: Yeah, he is good, he is good to go so he will play tomorrow and if he gets through that in terms of the Cup Final, he’s good to go. Aaron Mooy is still struggling with his back complaint, so he’ll miss out, probably a doubt for the Cup Final.
Sead (Haksabanovic) who came off the other night, actually is not as bad as we thought, he’ll miss tomorrow but actually we think he is a good chance for the Cup Final too which is good for him and good for the group.
Celtic will be without two wingers tomorrow with Daizen Maeda suspended but should be back to a full compliment of four for the squad on duty at Hampden.
Johnston’s return to the Celtic defence will be a significant boost, with the Canadian and Cameron Carter-Vickers missing in recent weeks the hoops defence has been virtually unrecognisable.
If we have the whole squad fit less CCV, then we should romp it!
the hibs game was a total shambles defence wise ralston waay off the pace starfelt usual bomb scare Kobayashi couldnt find a pass 5 yards away then lets get to berbebie this guy forgets hes supposed to be a full back ( supposed) he needs to go to specsavers as he keeps passing to an imaginary player to his left ! ( where he should be lol ) so apart from that were sound at the back oh apart from bainy ,…. discuss.
