The Celtic Way was a cocktail of sunshine and sounds as thousands of fans welcomed the SPFL champions back from Tynecastle.

Only 1,200 away fans witnessed the 2-0 victory in person but elsewhere thousands were watching and cheering on television as Kyogo Furuhashi and Oh Hyeon-gyu scored the goals that settled the issue.

That was the signal for fans to head to Celtic Park to give the champions the reception that they deserved for a run of 31 wins, two draws and one defeat since the campaign kicked off with a 2-0 win over Aberdeen on July 31.

With two trophies secured thoughts are turning towards the Scottish Cup Final on June 3 when Ange Postecoglou’s squad attempt to complete the treble and surpass the trophy count of the old Rangers club that went into liquidation in 2012 alongside Third Lanark, Gretna and Airdrie.
