Celtic are reported to be battling to hold onto John Kennedy.
After nine years as first team coach and assistant manager the 39-year-old is at a cross-roads in his career.
There is no guarantee that he will be wanted by Ange Postecoglou’s successor while it seems fairly obvious that he is wanted by the Australian as he sets about transforming Spurs.
After losing their manager Celtic will be keen to retain his assistant but unless Kennedy is offered the manager’s job it is difficult to imagine him continuing at Celtic.

Celtic are battling to keep assistant manager John Kennedy from joining Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham.
It is understood the Australian also wants coach Gavin Strachan and analyst Greg Wallace to join him in north London when he officially takes charge on July 1.
Postecoglou was appointed Spurs head coach on Tuesday after two years at Celtic in which he won back-to-back Scottish Premiership titles and a domestic treble this season.
Kennedy, who had been a first-team coach and then assistant to previous managers Neil Lennon, Ronny Deila, Brendan Rodgers and Postecoglou, is believed to be keen on a move to the Premier League club.

Celtic seem to find themselves in limbo just days after winning their eighth domestic treble with the spotlight on the hierarchy to come up with what looks like a brand new management team.
While there are no competitive matches for the best part of two months the next manager will require as much time as possible to prepare for the new season with September featuring the start of the Champions League and a likely trip to Ibrox in the SPFL.

I hope CELTIC get a manager as soon as possible. And when that person is appointed they should get everyone on the playing staff together. And ask one question…do you want to stay or do you want to go. Staff go to the manager’s office with their answer. Then if the manager wants but can’t persuade them to stay. The manager will know if they need anyone for the defence, midfield,striker. And try to get players in to play their style, If players want to go that has nothing to do with the manager. Then the people who’s job it is should get top money for them
