For the first time ever the Scottish Cup Final is being played in June.
After a good week of weather it looks like Hampden will be bathed in sunshine as 45,000 Celtic fans assemble to cheer their team to victory and a place in history.
As well as going for a world record eighth domestic treble lifting the Scottish Cup today would take Celtic’s domestic haul to 115, one more than Rangers who died in shame in 2012 when Her Majesty rejected an insulting CVA offered by Charles Green.
Celtic fans know their history, their heritage their DNA, where the club came from, their motivation and the opposition that they have faced since Day 1.

Garngad might have been rebranded as Royston but that area just north east of the city centre produced Jimmy McGrory and Stevie Chalmers and a depth of support that will never flinch.
If all goes well at Hampden today it should be a memorable weekend, another one for folklore.
