Footy Headlines give their verdict on leaked Celtic kit

Footy Headlines have leant their credibility to leaked images of Celtic’s 23/24 away kit which surfaced earlier today on social media.

With the school holidays just over two weeks away there has been nothing official from Celtic or Adidas although a third kit briefly appeared on the Adidas website last month.

A black or dark change shirt seems to have found favour with Adidas with their 23/25 effort described as dark grey, Footy Headlines reports:

Similar to the 2022-23 away shirt, the Adidas Celtic 2023-2024 away jersey is predominantly dark grey. The logos on the new Celtic away shirt are white, while there are also green accents on the collar and cuffs as well as in the form of the 3 Stripes on the shoulders.

Since Adidas became Celtic’s shirt maker in 2020, the Three Stripes have released two mainly black Celtic shirts. This new design is certainly a bit different.

That shirt should be fine for matches at Easter Road but will almost certainly require a third kit away to St Mirren who will be expected to use some combination of black and white.

The big release will be the traditional home kit of green and white hoops with a few suggestions out on social media but nothing really confirmed although there is a suggestion of a limited edition version.

In the season just finished Adidas released a fourth kit in March which was never worn, who will be wearing the managerial kit is the big question on the minds of supporters going into this weekend.
