Ibrox fans in meltdown over Rodgers Return

For a couple of days the Gullible & Deluded were swimming around in expectation.

More than the usual close-season expectations this year, after laughing at the appointment of Ange Postecoglou it was party time as the trophy collecting Aussie quit Celtic for Spurs. Apparently the Beale Revolution was a key driver in that decision.

Memories of the 100 plus day search for Postecoglou were fresh. Neither Enzo Maresca or Kjetil Knutsen looked capable of picking things up with the treble winners.

That burst of joy came to a halt with news that Michael Nicholson and Chris McKay had been in Santa Ponsa for talks with Brendan Rodgers.

Suddenly reality dawned. Rather than face a manager that had won five out of six domestic honours their rookie boss would be up against someone that has a CV of seven out of seven.

Excitement over the summer rebuild doesn’t quite add up when you are losing Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Scott Arfield, Malik Tillman and Allan McGregor. The Champions League record breakers are seriously weakened.

Moonbeams are flying about big money bids for strikers, assurances given about bizarre add-ons in the Tillman snub but with pre-season approaching so to will reality with a very highly motivated manager across the city determined to raise the bar from where he left off.

Aye, Joe, yer no’ bad. Exceptional wid be closer!
Every now and again ye hear “a blogger like no other” and a (PTL’S Favourite, a Club Like No Other), as he financially raped Celtic FC.
Give me bloggers, all the time…….IMHO, eTims is tops, when Ralph gets his ‘bit’ together and entertains us. Again IMHO, it’s also here, the fantastic VideoCelts.
I have a tendency to rebel (of course I AM a rebel), but I refuse to accept freebies from you Joe, and, for example PMGB and eTims.
I’ve NEVER, to date, sent you a wee gift for ALL that you give us. I’ve drank an awfae lot of Tesco’s Grouse an am strugglin with coheresncy. But, I’ve punted a few quid intae PMGB and eTims, so why not you?

Would it be possible to write in understandable English, not wishing to offend but your post is like listening to someone native to the gorbals speaking with marbles in their mouth.
Good posts are appreciated but few actually understand your point.

I don’t think Sevconians are ready for the Beale revolution and what it means. Sewage will be described as blancmange.
