Seven days after celebrating in The Trongate today is Tims in the Park as thousands of Celtic fans prepare to march from Glasgow Green to Hampden.

With clear blue skies and sunshine Glasgow is awash with Green and White with 45,000 Celts expected inside Hampden looking for their side to complete the domestic treble.

An eighth treble would set a new world record with Callum McGregor looking to lead from the front as he goes for the fifth treble in the last seven years.

Last Saturday’s Trongate celebrations brought out some predictable criticism, from many who enjoy staging anti-catholic hate festivals every weekend through the summer.

Opportunist politicians are exactly that but whatever statements they put out they will never ever curb the enthusiasm and passion of the Celtic support as they cheer on their club to new heights.

Small minded orange country we live in. When the parades begin in July not an eye will be batted. However, today we celebrated with the walk to seemingly, our national stadium and celebrated our tremendous 8th historical treble outside our own ground. Let the people sing their stories and their songs and their music of there natives lands because quite frankly, we are still living in a native country. However, 8 trebles can’t be argued with.
