Two leading Celtic Twitter accounts have been sharing their information on the search for Ange Postecoglou’s successor.

Etims and Celtic Underground were early pioneers on Twitter, dating back to the days of Bishop Crosas who was effectively the Blue Tick for Celtic players joining the social media platform.

Celtic Underground has gone for a teasing approach, getting the band back together covers a few options with Brendan Rodgers surely a more realistic option that the guy he replaced or his successor.

Etims goes for a more detailed approach naming two of the three contenders with initial contact already made.

There is very, very little information coming out of Celtic with traditional media outlets trying to feed the massive demand for information. Over the last week there has been six hour blitzes around Des Buckingham and Daniel Farke with neither being realistic candidates.

With elements of the easily led board into the Enzo Maresca camp and Dermot Desmond looking to re-employ Rodgers there could be an opening for the Candidate C.

Over the years Desmond has tended to get his way with the elderly board members hardly capable of putting up a counter argument.

If Rodgers does return to Celtic there will be some very interesting behind the scenes conversations, especially with the recently appointed ‘non-executive’ Chairman.
