Celtic have issued a bullish message to the London Stock Market, announcing stronger than anticipated income for the year to June 2023.

Since the end of the 22/23 accounting year the club has banked a massive transfer fee for the sale of Jota which will help fund the plans of Brendan Rodgers.

The announcement takes account of four Hampden appearances that helped the club to win four trophies but the main boost will be the transfer fees for Giorgos Giakoumakis and Josip Juranovic plus compensation from Spurs for Ange Postecoglou.

The Stock Market announcement read:

Celtic has enjoyed a strong on pitch performance in the 2022/23 football season having won the domestic treble. In addition, it has enjoyed a successful year in generating gains from player trading. As a result of such gains, Celtic now expects earnings for the year ended 30 June 2023 will be significantly higher than previous expectations, which were formed before the conclusion of the season and prior to certain player disposals.

Player registration valuations and player trading can and often do materially influence Celtic’s financial performance in addition to trading revenue. The Summer transfer window is now open and following the closure of the window and the finalisation of the year end balance sheet review, the Club will then be in a position to confirm the extent of its improved earnings by publishing its results for the year ended 30 June 2023, in line with its usual timetable in mid-September 2023.

In the year to June 2022 Celtic had turnover of £88.2m, with the addition of Champions League income and the three fees detailed above turnover could well be back to above £100m.

With the sale of Jota and another Champions League campaign getting underway Celtic have the ideal opportunity to consolidate on their current position of strength but most income streams are significantly dependent on delivering success on the park.

Fine talking about big revenue but we need to start bringing in new blood unto the team to push the current players further.

Oh dear wee Coco the klown at ibrox noise is going TONTO tonight with the deal Ross Wilson set up with Ajax when sevco CHISELED the Dutch club into parting with £16 million for the DUD.
Apparently big Shirley is valued at £25 million but Wilson short changed the ibrox klub by giving him away for £16 million.
Part of the sale was that sevco get 10% of any future sale if it’s more than what Shirley was worth at the time,Brighton and Ajax have now wiped the floor with sevco by selling Shirley for £300,000 less than what sevco got in the deal, now wiping out any sell on clause for the new klub at ibrox.
But wee Coco is still demanding sevco get their cash, as if a club are going to sell a player at a loss but still give part of the money away lost in the deal to sevco.
These sevco fans are ABSOLUTELY BONKERS if they think this is how football clubs operate,no wonder the first klub they supported ended up in the GRAVEYARD.

So for all the stories doing the rounds about sevco being SKINTO FC,they seem to be doing not to bad regarding players coming into the klub, that’s 6 now without a player punted out the door for cash.
We need to be careful here that don’t take our eye off the ball,as we are FANNYING about counting the cash laughing all he way to bank, these sleekit c***s are putting a team together to challenge us.
We better get some serious players in by end of next week before PANIC stations set in,and we end up PANIC BUYING which leads to problems and disasters,we now need to see some of that cash being splashed, and not nickel&dime stuff.

I know this is not what the story is about… however Why would the rangers give CELTIC more tickets when CELTIC supporters scarred a coach for life by throwing a bottle, glass been found on the park delaying the match, placing weapons to be used later, attacking opposition fans, attacking opposition players, and not been able to protect pundits reporting on a match, the rangers and the SFA/SPFL and the SMSM are correct not to allow CELTIC more tickets…. except all this had nothing to do with CELTIC….it was “the rangers” ?????
