Besiktas are reported to be preparing a £2.1m bid for Glen Kamara.

The midfielder has rapidly dropped out of contention at Ibrox over the last 18 months although he did start the Viaplay Cup Final against Celtic in February ahead of Todd Cantwell and Nico Raskin.

Another insipid display at Hampden seems to have been the end of the line for Kamara in the eyes of many Ibrox fans but with two years left on his contract the player is in the driving seat.

Last summer Besiktas pocked £5m from the transfer of Ridvan Yilmaz, now Turkish site Fanatik reports that they are looking to spend just less than half that that figure on the former Dundee man.

Discussing transfer plans at Besiktas, Fanatik reports:

However, the prominent player was Glen Kamara. Kamara is making plans to leave Glasgow Rangers this season. Although Be?ikta? wants to add the 27-year-old midfielder to his colors on loan, Rangers are after sending it with his testimonial. It has been suggested that Black Eagle will cost up to 2.5 million Euros for the Finnish football player, whose market value is approximately 5.5 million Euros.

Beale has been unable to shift any of his deadwood so far this summer with John Lundstram, Borna Barisic and Kemar Roofe now into the final 12 months of their contracts.

It seems that Kamara’s stock has nosedived since Steven Gerrard was discussing links with Juventus which strangely never quite materialised.

Any transfer fee for Kamara will be undisclosed and include significant add-ons.

Oh dear and to think they chased Juventus away not so long ago when they offered £50 million for the DUD FUD.

sevco players are always worth less than their market value, for obvious reasons!
