On Wednesday a friendly match between Portimonense and Celtic was delayed for an hour.
No reason was given for the delay but there did seem to be a few Celtic fans hoping to watch the Closed Doors match at Quinta do Lago on the Algarve.
Another friendly was scheduled for today but brought forward by an hour to kick off at 11am with Reo Hatate opening the scoring in the ninth minute.

UPDATE! Celtic are currently leading 3-1 with further goals from Liel Abada and Ben Summers.
There was no social media coverage of Wednesday’s match, no mention has been made of it but it seems that a Twitter commentary is in place this morning to ar least quell some of the curiosity of Celtic supporters.
After a quick return to Scotland Brendan Rodgers will take his squad to Japan where they have public matches on Wednesday and Saturday while being involved in a range of sponsorship and marketing events.
