Allan McGregor has opened up on five years of failure at Ibrox.

Despite another outstanding close season celebrating the impact of Todd Cantwell and speculating over the impact of the Micky Beale Revolution, McGregor was empty handed as he made his final ‘lap of honour’ with all three domestic trophies secured across the city.

Since joining the Tribute Act in 2018 McGregor has watched Celtic dominate with two trebles while St Johnstone have won as many trophies as the serial losers that the veteran keeper has shared a dressing room with.

There was no new contract on offer from Micky Beale at the end of last season, Jack Butland has taken his place in goals with McGregor sharing his pain with the Daily Record:

I wish there were more, I’m not going to lie. Without wanting to sound negative here, we have won two trophies from a possible 15 in the last five years – 16 if you include the Europa League final – and that is not enough for this club.

At Rangers there always has to be a standard where every game and every trophy is a must-win. I try to do my best to get that through to people, that you must be consistently winning leagues and winning cups. We need to get back to that as soon as possible.

McGregor did play in five of the six Champions League matches that earned Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side a place in the record books.

James Tavernier has watched Celtic lift even more trebles than Greegsy but already the former Wigan utility man is shouting the odds about what Beale’s Gumtree Galacticos will be winning in the season ahead.

I wish there were more ! Where have I heard that before ? Oh yes , that’s the head of production at BBC Scotland sport whose mantra applies to the employment policy of ex the Rangers players and associates ! Mac Gregor is a shoo in to be used by the national broadcaster this season as another ex the Rangers employee .

Well, those bears who bought tickets for McGregor’s testimonial,

have identified themselves to the Blue Room as the thickest, most generous

Trust Bisgrove has all their addresses…? 🙂

McGregor: “…….I’m not going to lie.”

    Well that’ll be a 1st.

Both Rangers and Sevco, and all their acolytes, live in a parallel universe where the truth is a stranger and lies are concentric to everything.

I nearly referred to Rangers and Sevco as both clubs but that would actually be a lie!

Sevco is a company, formed in 2012 and with NO footballing history. It cannot therefore be considered a club at all. It was fraudulently placed into the bottom tier of Scottish Professional Football when it had absolutely NO right to be there. I wonder how they paid The Spartans off and managed to get this particular LIE accepted into Scottish Football.

Perhaps Peter Lawwell would be kind enough to explain? Aye, maybe not, the snake.
