Kenny Miller does like to talk a lot.

After getting sacked as assistant manager by Huddersfield Town in February he slipped back into the saddle bigging up all things Ibrox with a variety of news sources.

It seems that there is an incredible demand to broadcast the thoughts of the former Portland Timbers ace.

Radio Clyde, Go Radio, Radio Scotland, Sky Sports and TalkSport among others all hang on his every word, at the weekend you can catch up by taking a look at the Daily Record website.

Whatever the station the message is very consistent. Whoever is managing at Ibrox is the right man, the players are fantastic and success is just around the corner, or next time as Tavpen might mumble after his next defeat from Celtic.

Recent contributions in the Record have included how Celtic won the treble based on fine margins and the claim that Nico Raskin is the match of Callum McGregor and destined for one of the top five leagues. Much the same has been said about Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent down the years.

A favoured topic for media types is a Combined Glasgow XI which is always good for a laugh as Miller, Barry Ferguson, Andy Halliday or some random former Ibrox loser tries to shoe-horn players into the Celtic side.

Listening in to Superscoreboard on Wednesday night, Football Scotland reports Miller saying:

At this moment in time because there is so much uncertainty in relation to the signings that Rangers have made, Tavernier goes in.

I think Raskin goes in alongside Callum McGregor. I think there’s definitely a case for Cantwell after the way he finished the season. I think one of them (Matt O’Riley or Reo Hatate) misses out. You could maybe have Cantwell playing off the side, but I think Cantwell and Raskin would definitely get in the team.

In the space of six months Alistair Johnston has surpassed Tavpen’s career medal tally, that was on the back of three appearances at the World Cup Finals.

Raskin and Cantwell played four matches against Celtic, winning one and losing the three that mattered, two cup ties and a league match that provided the hoops with a 12 point lead in the title, eventually clinching the flag with four matches left to play.

After a brief pause to take account of last night’s runaround from Olympiakos normal business will soon be resumed as Micky Beale stockpiles even more players.

If as anticipated they don’t get often to a winning start, if they fail to make the group stages of the Champions League it won’t be down to sub-standard players, they’ll simply need more time to gel.

Johnston, Hatate and O’Riley will all be playing in next season’s Champions League.

So there we have it ! Kenny of the Miller has spoken and the obedient SMSM are slavering all over his words . Just goes to show that if you talk enough horse manure ,eventually you will be believed by a certain crowd of ass kissers …..

Cantwell above Hatate or O’Riley? I think all that fake tan is seeping into Miller’s damaged brain…

Remember this is the guy that got the gig and who the people at TV stations radio stations and editors at newspapers approved him, just think who failed the gig.

Kenny Who, Kenny half gab a load of vomit.

Lots of noise from former players, I’d call him a star but he never was.
Gascoigne makes more sense in fluent Geordie.

  • Clachnacuddin and the Hoops says:

Not a bad player in his day, This Hibernian player and now former HIBERNIAN SUPPORTER sold his soul to The Ibrox Devil and has been deranged ever since sadly…

As I say he was an intelligent enough footballer but my goodness he is truly awful in the Media (Well on Clyde Superscoreboard anyway as I always listen in the Monday after we beat Sevco – which was a lot last season and hopefully will be once again this season) !

I’m afraid in that sphere it’s Kenny ‘Bone (Empty) Headed’ Miller !
