Robbie Ure has called out the Daily Record forcing the Glasgow publisher to delete a story about the former Murray Park starlet.

The teenager made three first team appearances last season but knocked back a new contract in order to explore opportunities elsewhere.

It seems fairly well documented that he spent time in Holland with AZ Alkmaar but it appears that someone at the Record decided to spin the story a bit too far.

Last season Jorg Albertz pulled out of a deal to provide the Record/Sunday Mail with a weekly column after someone got overly creative with the thoughts of the former German star.

Ever since the Record introduced their readers to a billionaire from Motherwell in 2011 they have had a major credibility issue.

With print circulation now below 60,000 there is a major focus on digital revenue but the race to attract clicks and eye-balls can result in standards dropping even further.

Remember the editor is every bit as bad as the klowns that attempt to write stuff at that shit pit,as the editor approves it all.

These c*nts calling themselves ‘ Digital Reporters ‘ probably went to University for a few years and this is the end result

Scouring fan pages on Twitter then copying and pasting hearsay

    Or

Listening to SSB or some other sh*t podcast and typing out what they’ve just listened to .

I don’t know what you call that but it ain’t journalism that’s for sure

Those scoops who are contracted to the daily Record are far too busy using other stories from other outlets every day , that when an alleged ‘exclusive’ from them appears to occur , they have to embellish the crap out of the story to keep its army of readers happy ! Second hand news ! That’s one of the many disgraceful things that the rag will be remembered for . Time for a doughnut !
