Celtic’s offer for Luis Palma is reported to be close to the demands of ARIS Thessalonika.
That is the view of Giannis Chorianopoulos who has been a trusted source of news to Celtic fans since Vasilis Barkas came to the club in the summer of 2020 from AEK Athens.
A year later Giorgos Giakoumakis arrived from VVV Venlo with much more success which will be more of a benchmark for Palma, a Honduran left-winger with an eye for scoring goals.

At this stage of the transfer window the times for posturing and gesturing is over and done with as terms are thrashed out with days rather than weeks remaining.
Jota was sold to Al Ittihad on July 5 with Celtic’s Recruitment Team appearing to be caught short trying to bring in a replacement.
In January Alistair Johnston and Oh Hyeon-gyu were signed before Josip Juranovic and Giorgos Giakoumakis were sold but that was the exception to the rule in recent times.
Palma has played four European matches, scoring in a 1-0 home win over Dinamo Kiev, and one league match for ARIS this season which should put his match fitness in line with Brendan Rodgers’ squad.
