Albian Ajeti is expected to sign for Turkish side Gaziantep for a reported fee of 1.2m euros.
After a disappointing season on loan at Sturm Graz the striker hasn’t been mentioned since Brendan Rodgers took over as manager despite the lack of striking options he has inherited.
Ajeti doesn’t appear to have been involved in any of Celtic’s pre-season preparations but it seems that his agent has found a club in Turkey prepared to give him a platform.

Gaziantep Football Club signed with Albian Ajeti. The 26-year-old striker is coming to Gaziantep via Istanbul transfer today . He will be in the city at 02:00 at night. Ajeti will watch this week’s Galatasaray match from the stands.
Gaziantep Football Club, which is nearing the end of the transfer, has reached an agreement with Ajeti, and it is among the information that 1 million 200 thousand Euros will be paid to this player.
Three years ago Celtic paid West Ham £5m for the Swiss internationalist who was brought in to compete with and compliment Odsonne Edouard who had been virtually on his own as a Celtic striker over the previous two seasons.
After a few early goals and busts of promise injuries set in with Ajeti finding himself at a club having its worse seen of the century.
Ange Postecoglou was able to revive a few careers but he couldn’t get anything out of Ajeti with Celtic left looking to salvage something from a big transfer fee and wages that would be in line with the terms Ajeti agreed at West Ham when he arrived as a £10m striker from Basel.
