Alan Muir, Don Robertson and the production team on Viaplay Sport didn’t want to know but those pesky Internet Bampots didn’t duck the issue.

Lots of folk, including many Celtic fans will say that Brendan Rodgers’ side didn’t deserve a penalty, it may well have been missed but the Laws of the Game don’t adapt to circumstances.

No matter how poorly your team has played, how few chances you create how few players have earned pass marks the same Laws apply.

Sead Haksabanovic is a year into his Celtic career without showing anything to become a starter but when he drove deep into the Kilmarnock penalty box his run was halted by a foul. Contact was made by Lewis Mayo.

Much softer penalties have been given in recent seasons, usually involving Ryan Kent running at defenders and firing a leg out to make contact before hitting the deck.

If Connor Goldson or James Tavernier try that against PSV Eindhoven tomorrow night the referee will point to the penalty spot, if he doesn’t detect it after a couple of checks the VAR official will at least point him to the pitchside monitor.

At Kilmarnock on Sunday Muir didn’t want to make a correct decision while Robertson in the VAR room reviewed and dismissed it all within less than a minute.

Afterwards the incident wasn’t covered by Viaplay Sports, it seems that some controversies don’t quite suit their purposes.

Correct ! – If it’s a penalty for or against Celtic then give it – I want to win fairly and also lose fairly, but hey ho this is not so Bonnie Scotland so this will never ever be the case…

However we reap what we sew and we are gonna reap a helluva lot more controversial and match losing decisions this season for as sure as night follows day…

Last season was the time to have shouted from the heavens about the open season and in plain sight cheating by all Scottish officials – They didn’t try to hide it in any way and while Ange did come out with words like ‘mental gymnastics’ our yellow, cowardice and spineless custodians on the board said nothing and here we are continuing to take these decisions ‘on the chin’ and moving on…

Well, keep ‘taking it on the chin’ like Mowbray did and it’ll be a Mowbray type season – Sevco will win The League If even by cheating – they won’t care, in fact they’ll enjoy it better that way and £40 million will be there’s and not ours (an £80 million swing) and their board will invest every last penny back in their team on players and not projects…

Celtic’s board may be better ‘folks’ than Sevco’s ones – But if they get their hands on money Sevco’s board are a million times better custodians !

During the women’s world cup final after Spain won a penalty kick against the English ,the referee referred to the VAR screen ,turned around and informed everyone inside the stadium and so in effect the whole wide world that it was ‘a penalty ‘ blew her whistle and pointed to the spot ….end of ! Now ,why can’t that happen here in Scawlin ‘ because the technology is in place and referees wear microphones , so to tell the fans verbally what the decision is and why it was given is probably so simple to do it is frightening ! What is it that these officials don’t want the public to hear or find out ? It smells like a rancid sewer and somebody with clout better stand up quickly and expose this sham to the listening crowds as it is becoming more corrupt by each passing game .I personally am sick of the whole thing and I bet you I’m not the only one …..
