Brendan Rodgers came to the rescue of one young Celtic fan at the end of today’s 3-0 win away to Livingston.
As the visiting players went around the stadium after the final whistle one support, aged about 12, decided to run onto the pitch to get closer to his heroes.
Three stewards suddenly appeared with one rugby tackling the kid to the ground while two of his colleagues closed in.
Well done Brendan Rodgers on saving this wee guy from the stewards and returning him to the fans ?? pic.twitter.com/XmymHBNgZX

Watching from a distance Rodgers showed a neat turn of pace to get on the scene, getting the fan back to his feet and ushering him back into the crowd to the cheers of the Celtic support.
It was a small incident but another step in the strange rehabilitation of a manager who delivered seven trophies out of seven in his first stint in the job and who already has an Ibrox win since his return.
A bit of a DOUGHBALL for running on the park, but ABSOLUTE CLASS by Brendan walking the guy off te pitch.
The steward should be embarrassed . ??
