Graham Potter is the choice of one in three bears to pick up on the shambles left by Micky Beale at Ibrox.
The former Chelsea boss has made it clear that he has no interest in moving to Ibrox as he recovers from his Stamford Bridge trauma and waits on the offer of a return to managing in the EPL.
Potter moved from Brighton to Chelsea a year ago on a deal reported to be worth £190,000 per week with his pay off reported as anything between £13m and £50m.
Salary clearly won’t be the deciding factor in his return to management but it is hard to see the prospect of trying to get a tune out of Sam Lammers and Cyriel Dessers carrying much appeal.

Potter lasted 31 matches at Chelsea, 12 less than Beale managed at Ibrox. His successor Frank Lampard is a more likely candidate to take over at Ibrox.
Kjetil Knutsen of Bodo Glint is the only other option getting much support, having turned down Ajax last summer a move to Ibrox is hardly likely to appear more attractive.
It seems that a dumbing down exercise is required on the bears with the reality being that Neil Warnock, Derek McInnes and David Martindale are the most likely successors to pick up on the squad that Beale put together over the summer.

Graham Potter is unlikely. What they need now is someone with experience of managing a ‘Phoenix Club’ – perhaps Brian Potter would be a more appropriate appointment…..
