Chris Sutton has delivered a scathing attack on Scottish football’s greatest social media presence.

Wherever he can gather an audience you’ll find TikTok Cantwell, the self-style superstar who has yet to win a single honour in the game.

If he’s not on Twitter, Instagram or TikTok he’ll be trying to grow an audience on Threads or pouring his heart out to a Podcast dressed like a teenager from the nineties with his baseball hat on the wrong way indoors.

In January Norwich City were delighted to offload their former £40m rated starlet, at a similar time Celtic signed Alistair Johnston with one of those players having a full set of Scottish medals already in his collection.

In contrast Cantwell plays to the gallery at every turn, charming the bears with criticism of Sutton as he explains that a pundit shouldn’t hand out opinions.
