Alan Muir and Don Robertson will team up again on Saturday when Celtic travel to Easter Road to take on Hibs.

The hoops have only lost one match this season, away to Kilmarnock in the League Cup when Muir was in charge with Robertson on VAR duty.

Marley Watkins scored the only goal of the game in the 59th minute with Celtic temporarily reduced to 10 men with Greg Taylor off the park receiving treatment.

The defender was the victim of a very late challenge from Daniel Armstrong whose elbow smashed into the side of Taylor’s head. No action was taken by the referee or VAR official.

Celtic’s last SPFL Premiership defeat was at Easter Road in May but it will be a much changed side put out by Brendan Rodgers.

Scott Bain was in goals for that 4-2 defeat with Daizen Maeda coming off the bench but being sent off early in the second half. None of the back four of Tony Ralston, Carl Starfelt, Yuki Kobayashi or Alexandro Bernabei are in contention to start Saturday’s match which gives the champions the chance to go 10 points clear at the top of the Premiership table.
