Split in the Ibrox boardroom over media leaks to Jackson

There are reports of a split in the Ibrox boardroom as they struggle to find a replacement for Micky Beale.

John Bennett and James Bisgrove are reported to be in charge of the mission but there is a very limited pool of capable candidates currently out of work and prepared to take on the carnage left behind by the Brains Behind Gerrard.

Over the last 30 years Keith Jackson has had a variety of sources inside both Ibrox clubs and while the message has rarely been 100% correct he remains well connected regardless of changes in regime.

Despite Paul Murray trading in his blazer a couple of years ago it would be naive to think that Jackson’s sources inside the club had ran dry.

Seeing Derek McInnes take over as manager has been a long time ambition for the top man at the Daily Record, this morning he tried to frame that prospect as the wish of Walter Smith who apparently disregarded the views of fans and had steered the former Aberdeen boss away from Ibrox in 2017 due to Dave King’s inability to be trusted.

That has kicked off mayhem among angry bears, unhappy about Jackson, McInnes and claims about a former manager who is dead.

Fan media sites battle to be the most on-message for reasons best known to themselves but the big stories are inevitably leaked to old school media outlets like the Record.

Any non-Scottish candidate to replace Beale is likely to ask awkward questions of Bennett and Bisgrove but a local bear like McInnes or Billy Davies is more likely to jump in for the prestige of following in the footsteps of Ally McCoist, Mark Warburton, Pedro Caixinha and Beale.

Wasn’t this The utter Half-Wit that all the Celtic forums said that he published Craig Whyte as a billionaire with ‘wealth off the rader’

I rest ma case about anything the Celtic forums report that he spouts…

Take it with a pinch of salt – He is “Comedy Gold Wealth of the Rader” !
