There was a lot of expectations on Super Scoreboard last night but the Radio Clyde show managed to come up with the goods.

Angry bears let themselves go after being led up the garden path once again with their SPFL title hopes hanging by a thread at the end of September.

On Sunday night John Bennett finally got round to removing Micky Beale from his job but e leaves behind a disaster of a squad with most on contracts until at least 2026.

It is hard to imagine the next manager moulding something out of Ridvan Yilmaz, Ben Davies, Sam Lammers, Cyriel Dessers, Rabbi Matondo and Jose Cifuentes while Todd Cantwell covers the gory detail on Instagram.

Lee from Knightswood has watched it all unfold and didn’t hold back when he got through to Roger Hannah and Kenny Miller on last night’s show.

It seems like the strategy at Ibrox is to cross their fingers and hope that Steve Davis and Alex Rae can avoid any major set-backs.

Paying off Beale and his staff will have been a costly business, if there was a competent boss willing to take over they’d be at Murray Park this morning.

Graham Potter, Derek McInnes and Kevin Muscat are the names being strongly linked with the job and trying to stop Celtic with the squad that Beale assembled over the summer transfer window.

That’s 2 jokers now at the daily sevco screaming for MARTINJAIL,looks like Bisgrove and Bennett have the nickel&dime journalists pushing it out there for the cheap option to buy them time until the end of the season before they get cash together for the guy they really want to bring in. MARTINJAIL IS YOUR MAN.

  • Scud Missile says:

Meanwhile in the background is the CHISLER himself Dave King ready pounce on the board with Halloween Houston and his crew on standby to create havoc.

Watch in the coming days a special guest star appearance from the CHISLER with a sympathetic journalist conducting an interview with King about how he can save the season but he needs those at the top out the way first.

  • Bob (original) says:

The cheap option is to run with Rae Davis, and if they don’t totally cock it up,

keep them in post until season end.

Alternatively, Martindale is the back up option. He will comply with anything the

Blue Room tell him – like he has no player budget, and is getting paid peanuts.

He will just be eternally grateful to get the blazer and brogues! 🙂

The mention of the Preston N.E. manager was a surprise: came from nowehere,

so though sevco had maybe already made an approach? But Preston is 3rd

in Championship just now – so why would any manager walk away from possibly

taking a club up to the EPL ? Just more ibrox/SMSM p!sh.

Makes sense for the Blue Room just to sit tight for a few weeks…?

  • Clachnacuddin and the Hoops says:

Aye Clyde Superscoreboard was good fun last night for sure…

Not many managers have said monragers yet though !
