Oh Hyeon-gyu was watched by his family as he scored Celtic’s vital late winner against St Mirren.

The striker has had very limited game time this season, failing to start any matches with most of his appearances coming in the last 10 minutes off the bench.

Last night he replaced David Turnbull in the 74th minute and was given a rare opportunity to play alongside Kyogo Furuhashi in attack.

Kyogo and Odin Thiago Holm combined in the 83rd minute to create an opening for Oh who required one touch then cracked his shot past Zak Hemmings into the net to the relief of the home fans- and delight of his family watching in the stand.

Oh arrived in Scotland in January but clearly has a decent grasp of English as shown in the interview above. Prompted by the interviewer he confirmed that his family is currently with him in Glasgow.

At this time last season Giorgos Giakoumakis was getting almost as much game time as Kyogo and delivering in terms of goals.

Last night’s strike could open the door for more playing time for Oh even though Kyogo is clearly Celtic’s first choice striker.

That was really nice to see big Oh looking delighted and scoring in front of his family, that’s a wee bit of the Celtic Magic!
Good on you, Big Fella and you didn’t half lift my spirits with that terrific strike last night.

I watched the game last night in the pub with three mates…and here are some of the “quotes” from us…
    “FFS Callum…take a day aff “…” FFS Taylor can ye no pass a baw ?”…” FFS…gonny speed up lads “…”FFS…Is O’Riley playin’ “?…and finally…
    ” OH…YA FECKIN’ BEAUTY “…
    Great goal son…well done.
And a wee mention to Yang, who I criticised recently, and Holm who I think is a classy player…well done lads…you made a difference.
