Eleven hours before kick-off time UEFA have still to announce the referee and match officials for the Atletico Madrid v Celtic match.
Normally the officials are announced and even profiled on the UEFA website, the Press Kit usually runs through previous matches that he has refereed involving clubs from the competing nations.
Tonight’s officials should have been in Madrid last night but it could be that UEFA are keeping details quiet with referees being flown in on the day of the game to avoid the possibilities of contact in the lead up to matches.
.@UEFA have failed to announce the match officials for the latest #ChampionsLeague games with 23 appointments still to be made at 8.5 hours to kick off
This is amateurish & is being manipulated by those with access to the full roster
It’s almost like UEFA have something to hide

Often clubs will ‘look after’ match officials with top class meals and hospitality laid on including a help yourself visit to the club store.
In Scotland the SFA usually announce the weekend referees on a Tuesday morning, when there are midweek matches the officials can be announced a week in advance.

For Fcuk’s sake – It’s bad when even The SFA can do a better job than you…
Not a very good look for UEFA then !
Could it be John Beaton with Andrew Dallas on VAR and Alan Muir as fourth official plus David Dickinson and David Munro running the lines?
No doubt they’d love to be there HC to see (in their eyes) a potential heavy(ish) loss for Celtic !
Ah well they got their wish… Still though Celtic have a point more than the worst competing ever team called Sevco in the competition and it’s history –
ZERO POINTS SEVCO !!!
