Willie Collum will referee Celtic for the second time this season when he takes charge of Sunday’s home match against Aberdeen.
The Lanarkshire based official also took charge of the 2-1 win away to Motherwell at the end of September.
After a long stint being regarded as Scotland’s top referee it is now more than 18 months since he was put in charge of a Glasgow Derby.
Kevin Clancy will be on VAR duty with Brendan Rodgers unusually critical of the refereeing and VAR decisions during Celtic’s 3-0 win away to Ross County.
Aberdeen return to Glasgow a week after reaching the final of the League Cup but via a Europa League trip to Greece where they face PAOK on Thursday night.
With two more days preparation and home advantage Celtic will be strong favourites to go into the international break on the back of a win.

For one I’d DETEST any favours – Likes ever other Hoops fan I just wanna win fair and square the polar opposite of Sevco fans some of whom I know that actually brag about the cheating…
But be assured these guys will be PETRIFIED of giving The Hoops any 50:50 decisions for sure as their ‘alleged’ religion will be cast up as the reason – so it simply ain’t happening –
Compare and contrast to Beaton, Muir, Munro, Walsh, Dickenson and Co who simply don’t give a continental fcuk about perceptions and just crack on giving Sevco every 50:50 going and a lot worse as well !
Completely agree, Clach. Those clowns are every bit as bad as your average Hun referee. If they don’t play the game, they will not receive the wee perks that they are granted.

Collum is the most incompetent ref i have seen in my life and that is saying something. He should have been dumped years ago . How he is still in the game is a disgrace.
Collum and Clancy are viewed as incompetent because they know what they are doing is wrong (cheating). Whereas cheating beaton and co are “trying” to cheat …..as I’ve said before if the punishment for cheating is “NO” punishment why stop cheating
I would love to have been a fly on the wall when Madden met Allen after Allen slagged Madden in public for letting the Kyogo goal to stand …. here is my opinion….
