Brendan Rodgers has made three changes to the Celtic side that drew 0-0 with Hibs for tonight’s match at home to St Mirren.

After a run of starting four matches on the bounce after recovering from a hamstring injury Cameron Carter-Vickers drops out the squad with Nat Phillips taking his place.

David Turnbull replaces Paolo Bernardo with James Forrest in for Daizen Maeda with Bernardo and Maeda on the bench.

The absence of Carter-Vickers is the main issue with the former Spurs man the undoubted first choice central defender with a growing partnership alongside Liam Scales.

Maik Nawrocki is listed as a substitute for the first time since Augustm after coming off the bench at Hibs on Saturday Mikey Johnston drops out of the squad for tonight’s match which will be refereed by John Beaton.

CELTIC: Hart; Johnston, Phillips, Scales, Taylor; McGregor, O’Riley, Turnbull; Forrest, Kyogo, Palma

SUBS: Bain, Yang, Holm, Nawrocki, Oh, Tomoki, Bernardo, Maeda, Ralston

Hardly an impressive starting 11 imo.
Yet again some strange decisions been made by Rodgers again.
Hoping these decisions pay off, as hardly want to find ourselves in a position of struggling to find a goal?
Fear this might be bit of a grind to get the right result, but hopefully I’m totally wrong all the same

Ahh Johno, the man who tries to lay the blame at the wrong door ?. Johno was gushing with praise when fans were crying out for better than projects when the window closed. John was confident of a good CL campaign( I can dig put post) and happy with recruitment’s. Now that it looks like we have only one player better than what we had, it’s now the managers fault for not picking the substandard recruits. The window was a disaster Johno, and now that we need to play the squad it is showing. My only doubt is whether you are clueless about football or a board plant/lackey. I’m definitely swaying towards the latter.

As my mates will testify…James Forrest is not my favourite player…There is no doubt he has loads of talent…but doesn’t show it often enough for me…Let’s hope tonight he uses that talent and takes defenders on…Mon the Hoops…??
