After recent troubles from the penalty spot Luis Palma made no mistake when Celtic were awarded a 51st minute spot kick against Hibs.
The Honduran had looked unconvincing with his last two penalties, scoring against Aberdeen but seeing his effort saved in the home draw against Motherwell.
Tonight there was no shuffling or stalling as he stepped up and fired confidently high into the net to the right of David Marshall.
That goal set the tone for the second half after Oh Hyeon-gyu and Matt O’Riley had given the home side a two goal half time lead.

There was one more goal for the home side in the second half with Oh powering his way to a second goal of the game although Hibs replied soon afterwards through Chris Doidge.
Cameron Carter-Vickers was replaced by Nat Phillips at half time, afterwards Brendan Rodgers told Radio Scotland that the former Spurs man had felt a tightening in his hamstring.
?? “We scored four goals and could have had a few more. Overall the mentality of the team is very good.”
