Kevin Clancy will referee Celtic for the second time this season when he takes charge of Saturday’s SPFL Premiership match against Hearts.

Back in August the Glasgow based referee was in charge of Celtic’s 3-1 win away to Aberdeen which was sealed by a late goal from Matt O’Riley.

Clancy has had a fairly low profile this season, taking charge of just two matches between September 23 and December 6 which was probably injury related.

Celtic won 4-1 at Tynecastle earlier in the season and will be looking for a similar result after losing 2-1 at Kilmarnock in their last SPFL outing.

Brendan Rodgers should have Daizen Maeda and Cameron Carter-Vickers available for selection with the Japanese winger out of action since the start of November.

After tomorrow’s match Celtic have the luxury of a free midweek before being at home to Livingston on December 23.

Duncan Williams will be on the touchline as the fourth official with Gavin Duncan on VAR duty.
