After Statement FC issued yet another statement sharing their anger at a statement from the SPFL a solution is sitting right in front of their eyes.

The pain of reaching the top flight in 2016 only discover that Celtic were kicking off the most dominant era in Scottish football became too much for some bears.

Four successive Celtic wins at Ibrox with the March 2018 winner from French Eddie was the final straw as fan media bullied Dave King into a PR stunt that prompted yesterday’s statement.

The South African based criminal decided to cut Celtic’s allocation of tickets to Ibrox from 7,000 and a full stand down to 700, the same as St Mirren, Kilmarnock and Motherwell.

Reluctantly Celtic reciprocated that move, in recent seasons the allocation has varied between 0 and 700 at each venue.

All sorts of verbal gymnastics have came out of Ibrox, claims made that they have sold Season Tickets for the entire area but for a number of the bigger European ties they have to clear out 2,500 seats for opposition fans.

Celtic still sell Season Tickets for 17 SPFL matches with no guarantee for the two Glasgow Derby matches.

Three of the next four Derby matches will be played at Celtic Park, unless there is a move at Ibrox to provide a safe allocation in line with UEFA’s 5% rule the angry bears will be howling at their tellies with the influence of their fan media over weak characters in the Blue Room to blame for the situation.
